Our Process
Morgan HR Consulting uses a five-phase approach to process mapping and program design typically includes five phases:
Phase I - Determining project deliverables
Envision the future state: We assess the current state of the organization/programs and solicit stakeholder input to provide recommendations for attaining the desired future state. During this stage, we define deliverables and identify role assignments.
Gather critical data: We gather intelligence and assess the current state by obtaining preferences and identifying key success factors. The assessment of the organizational climate helps us to understand internal values.
Define future state: We define new structures and determine administration processes.
Determine compatibility: We capture strengths and challenges of the new program for each phase of implementation to determine its compatibility with the process, culture, and people.
Establish success criteria: We determine base analytics and other tools for ongoing assessments.
Develop implementation plan: We develop an implementation strategy for the new program in which we discuss and outline detailed execution plans for each phase. We outline action items for installing and utilizing technology for effective administration and communication.
Communicate strategy: We capture and outline the elements of a comprehensive communications strategy. We discuss design, competitive placement, connection to culture/vision, technology, expectations, new roles, and administrative responsibilities within the new program and determine what is needed to ensure exceptional rollout.
Secure Approval: We develop materials to facilitate the approval of the program including presenting the program to the sponsor(s) and executive management for approval.
Phase II - Implementing and integrating new programs
Sell the Solution: We conduct a preliminary review of the impending changes with key stakeholders.
Implement the Solution: Morgan HR Consulting meets with participants to ensure their understanding of the new program, clarify role expectations, and obtain a review of the organizational climate. We establish monitoring points and progress indicators. We will even create and/or integrate related training into new manager programs, leadership development, etc.
Phase III - Ensuring program acceptance
During this phase, we clarify and convey the program objectives. We provide a training/orientation program. And, we identify informal communication channels to ensure adherence to the new program.
Phase IV - Concluding the project
At the conclusion of the assignment, we return all project-related materials and supplies, both proprietary and non-proprietary, to the executive sponsor. We provide ongoing coaching to project team members throughout the implementation phase.
